Fiji formally the Republic of Fiji, is a tropical country in Melanesia in the Southern Hawaiian Sea about 1,100 seafaring kilometers northeast of New Zealand’s Northern Isle. Its nearest neighbors are Vanuatu to the western, New Caledonia southern western, New Zealand’s Kermadec Isles southern eastern, Tonga to the eastern, the Samoas and France’s Wallis and Futuna to the northeast, and Tuvalu to its northern border.

Transportation in Fiji

The Nadi Worldwide International airport is situated 9 kilometers north of central Nadi and is the biggest Fijian hub. Nausori Worldwide International airport is about 23 kilometers northeast of downtown Suva and serves mostly household traffic. The primary airport in the second biggest isle of Vanua Levu is Labasa Worldwide airport found at Waiqele, south west of Labasa Town.
