Heathrow International airport is a remarkable airport terminal in west London, Britain. Heathrow is the most popular airport in the United Empire, well-known airport in European countries by traveller-targeted traffic, and 6th most preferred airport in the world by total traveller traffic. In 2014, it managed a record 73.4 million tourist, a 1.4 percent increase from 2013.

Heathrow Airport began out in 1929 as a compact sized airfield on place southeast of the town of Heathrow from which airport calls for its name. At that time there were farms, market gardens and orchards there: there was a “Heathrow Farm” about where Terminal 1 is now, a “Heathrow Hall” and a “Heathrow House”. This town was mostly along a nation lane (Heathrow Road) that ran approximately along the eastern and southern sides of the existing main terminals area.

in 1944 start Progression of the whole Heathrow area as a very large airfield. it was started to be for long-distance army airplane bound for the Far Eastern but by the time the airfield was approaching finalization when World War II had finished. The government build up the airfield as a public airport. In 1946 London Airport open as public Airport and renamed Heathrow Airport in 1966.

Today Heathrow Airport terminal used by over 90 airways travelling to 170 locations globally. The airport is the primary hub of British Airways and is a base for Virgin Atlantic. It has four traveller terminals and a freight terminal.

Heathrow Airport has Anglican, Catholic, Hindu, Jewish, Muslim and Sikh religious place. There is a multi-faith prayer room and counselling room in each terminal, in addition to St. George’s Interdenominational Chapel in an underground vault adjacent to the old control tower, where Christian services take place. The chaplains organise and lead prayers at certain times in the prayer room.
