Kuta Beach

Kuta is the surfing paradise in Bali, Indonesia. With a wide Indian Ocean beach-front places, it is famous as the beach resort destination. It is a rural and peaceful fishing village. Kuta Beach has observed the changes over the last years. Such as the increase of various resorts, dining places, and shopping Areas.

Some of the more well-known diving sites are the USAT Liberty WW2 shipwreck, the manta rays & mola mola (giant sunfish) of Nusa Penida and The Jetty or Blue Lagoon at Padang Bai.

Kuta extends along the beach front all the way from the airport to Legian. Small lanes guide from the beaches into the largely populated hotel zone. To avoid traffic problems, the best choice rents a motorbike for longer adventures.

By Car
Traffic jams are a regular problem here and especially when it is raining. It is best to park your car before you arrive at downtown Kuta and walk in.

By Taxi
Metered taxis are popular on the roads of Kuta. These taxis are the cheap and reliable mode to get around, particularly at night. Avoid any taxi where the driver declines to put the meter on.

By Motorbike
Those with a feeling of experience should try hopping on the back of a local scooter. They are always looking for a traveler, making settlement easier and more effective. This type of informal transport called an ojek and is quick and inexpensive.
