The Coca-Cola London Eye

The London Eye is a most popular tourist attraction in London. The London Eye famous as a giant Ferris wheel and Millennium Wheel, located on the South Bank of the River Thames. The Millennium Wheel was officially opened for public 9 March 2000. The London Eye has been renamed as the Coca Cola London Eye in September, 2014.

The Ferris wheel is 443 feet tall and the wheel has a diameter of 394 feet. In this giant Ferris wheels have a 32 air-conditioned passenger capsules. Every passenger capsules is carry 25 people at a time.

The wheel rotates in 30 minutes. It does not stop for take on passengers. The spinning time is slow enough to allow passengers to walk on and off the going capsules at ground level.London Eye Inside

Getting at:

By Bus:

Buses to the Coca-Cola London Eye include the 211, 77 and 381. The London sightseeing bus tours and on the RV1 route that connects the London Eye to the Tate Modern and Covent Garden.Visit Journey Planner

By Underground:

The Ferris wheels is located within walking distance from several London Underground stations. Such as: Waterloo, Embankment, Charing Cross and Westminster.

Waterloo is the closest tube station to the London Eye. Waterloo is about 5 minutes walking distance. Exit the station following signs for the South Bank.

Embankment and Charing Cross stations are close together on the north side of the River Thames. Both tube stations are a 10-15 minute walk to reach there. From the station, cross over Hungerford Bridge.

Westminster tube station is the nearest station to Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament. From the station, take exit and follow the signs for Westminster pier. Visit Journey Planner

By Car:

The Coca-Cola London Eye does not have a car park on site.
