The Museum of Modern Art is a most popular art gallery and also know by the short name MoMA. The Museum situated in Manhattan NYC, on 53rd Street between 5th and 6th Avenues.

It has been considerable in developing and collecting modernist art, and is often recognized as the most significant museum of modern art in the entire globe. The museum’s collection offers an overview of modern and contemporary art. Including works of architecture and design, drawing, painting, sculpture, photography, prints, illustrated books, artist’s books, video and digital media.

How to reach on MoMA.

By Subway : From the east side of Manhattan
6 train to 51st Street, transfer to the E or M train, one stop to 53rd Street and Fifth Avenue.

From the west side of Manhattan
E or M train to 53rd Street and Fifth Avenue, or B, D, or F train to 47-50 Street Rockefeller Center.

By Bus : From the east side of Manhattan
M1, 2, 3, 4, or 5 to 53rd Street

From the west side of Manhattan
M50 cross-town to 50th Street. Proceed to 53rd Street.

By Car : From the Bronx, Queens, and Long Island
Take the Triboro Bridge to the southbound/downtown FDR Drive to 53rd Street exit, proceed west on 53rd Street.

From Brooklyn and Staten Island
Take Williamsburg Bridge, Manhattan Bridge, Brooklyn Bridge, or Battery Tunnel to the Northbound/uptown FDR Drive, Exit at 42nd Street, turn right on Madison Avenue. Turn left onto 53rd Street.

From Northern New Jersey
Take George Washington Bridge to the West Side Highway (NY-9A), exit 56th Street. Left on Twelfth Avenue. Right on 57th Street.

From Southern New Jersey
Take New Jersey Turnpike to Lincoln Tunnel going toward Manhattan. Take the Tenth Ave./West Side Highway. Straight to Dyer Avenue. Turn right on 42nd Street. Eighth Avenue Turn left.  52nd Street Turn right. Turn left to Madison. Turn left on 53rd Street.

From Upper Westchester
Take New York State Thruway south to the Major William F. Deegan. Turn right at Third Avenue. Take the Harlem River Drive ramp and merge to the FDR south. Take to 53rd Street exit, proceed west on 53rd Street. Museum of Modern Art Tour
